A local establishment, friendly staff unfortunately took too long to give certain items and was food was quite bland. Priced reasonably considering the district, pilav rice is 40 TL which was delicious. Lachmacun was nice, but the chicken dish needed spice. Took too long to bring sauces, asked for tea over 4x, asked for chips over 3x and it was brought when meal was almost over. It wasn’t as busy also. Would have been better to takeaway. Please bare in mind, turkish food is NOT spicy at all. You’ll need lots of pulbi ber and sauce to make it flavoursome.

Excellent food at very good price! Owner is very friendly and even gave us free baclavas for free as dessert! Highly recommended!

Very very tasty food and staff were brilliant. The most cheap restaurant in Istanbul 2 to 3 walk from grand bazar and few minutes walk from blue mosque. Prices are a lot cheaper then other restaurants.

Very good Turkish food. Seems well priced compared to other restaurants nearby. The staff speaks good English. I ordered the liver and it was amazing! Highly recommend. They take card or cash. Their on the 2nd floor and open air, which is nice. I also love the decor inside! Small but cute. Friendly staff and great service. Please try this place!

I used to visit Istanbul a lot when I was a kid and I remembered the most welcoming hospitality I had experienced 30 years ago. I was a bit sad that the same hospitality was gone this time round as most food businesses are scamming tourists constantly. However I found Mevlana Kebap and it made me relive the sweetest memories I had of Istanbul. They were warm and honest with their business. Food was great too!! Highly recommended.

We ordered mixed kabab and it was great. My wife asked for some extra yogurt as it was finished before kabab was finished. They did not say they ll charge for it. But they charged during the bill

Great and affordable Turkish food. You get a piece of pita bread before your main dish and a small piece of baclava and Turkish tea as a dessert. Ordered the lahmacun and yogurt sauce kebab and was delighted by their flavor and generous portions. Workers are really hospitable.
